Programming a Trunk Group Busy RAD

To program the Trunk Group Busy RAD:

1. Program the Recorded Announcement Device (RAD).

2. Trunk Groups form

• Assign a Trunk Group Busy RAD number to provide a RAD announcement to callers when all trunks in the group are busy.

• Assign a RAD's directory number to the Trunk Group Busy RAD field.

3. Class of Service Options form

• Ensure that the RAD's COS is programmed with the Busy Tone Timer set to a higher value than the "Answer Plus Message Length Timer" to prevent announcements being cut off before completion.
